Hello,
Today I decided to use wrobot for auction's for the first time. I have read some topics about it but still got some questions like:
1) How to use this button under list of items ? 'Appraise selected items at 80% (by default) of minimum price' - what does it mean ?
2) Minimum, maximum, average and center - this variables can be chosen for scanning AH. What are these for ?
3) Should I use this button manually from time to time to build some database similar to auctioneer addon or it is happening automatically ?
4) When the bot finds any bargain and collect it from mailbox we can use the bot to list that same item on the AH. It is possible to list items always 1 copper cheaper than the rest of current competition on the market? Instead of list with always the same price ?

That'S why I said, don't use the AH bot. Either use the AH API or do it yourself (interact with NPC, then execute your own scripts).
You need to either create your own Product or use CustomProfile.

Hello, I have used during his development to fix problems/bugs. I have started with 150 g, after 5 days (2 or 3 hours per days) I had 5000 g. I had configure bot to buy/bid items with small price (mineral and herbs) and resell it more expensive.

This works very well for snagging up mats at a low price. The current configuration for selling though is not optimal. If possible, incorporating the ability to use Trade Skill Master for posting auctions would be of huge benefit, allowing for better market pricing.

Starting the Bot, Use "Trail" Key and a new Window Open with all the Bot freat. and functions... choose "Auction" but if i Hit "Start", get an Error -> "You Cannot Use the Auction Bot whit Trial Version".

I have create a small test "Buy & Sell" List and now i have the first problem whit the Auction Bot. Everything is nice and works great but i missing some special "option" for the selling operation - "Max. Stack´s or Max. Auction per Item" - For example...
...in my Shopping list i have "Sorcerous Earth", set the stack size to x5 - he create 100 x5 auction now. Thats to much o.0

But that won't happen, because 99% of times there are bots 24/7 using addons and other shit that check undercuts every 5 seconds around, so the time you post, they notice they have been undercutted, and they undercut you back. So it's an endless war with the difference they are probably sleeping on the bed and you are doing the scan manually every single second to check undercuts and market flow. Yes you can buy a gem for 100g hoping to sell that for 200g+ but no, everytime you post, you will be undercutted, even until 100g. So you just waste time (and gold) even with the buy function. Both buy and sell functions are worthless.
Sorry but 0/10, unless you find a way to make this feature beat bots around, there is absolutely

A tip I can add is not using any fight profile (delete the name field) while using the auction function. So your char wont do any retarded buffing and stuff that gives no sense out of no where.
And remove the mount name, so it dont mount and run into the AH wall/ceiling.

I cant remember, but somewhere there is a way to set up an event.. For example, tell the bot to farm Herb for 3 hours, then switch to AH profile and stay on that profile XX time..etc

Definetely the best option. simply because its more human-like, and! it will farm for more time than it would've if it didnt do this at all
Consider it like this
- Farming -> sending to alt (bags are now empty) -> Farms MORE -> sends to alt (bags are once again empty!) -> Farms MORE!
the best part is. it can repeat this proccess for legit unlimited times. as the mailbox holds "unlimited" amount of mails for 30-31 days (if i can recall correctly)
Only thing that could be of problem is the mailbox log with all them items :) but mehh we take a risk botting regardless

Oh I hear you, its not an amazing feature. But it does as advertised I believe. I have asked to add some functionality like using TSM to manage pricing and the like and just go back and forth to the mailbox posting my items at my TSM set pricing. Sniper. undercut and all that are not something I do so I am not sure hoe hard that is but I imagine if we could get the bot to utilize the TSM addon, that would be awesome.
I am not going to lie, sitting and the mailbox for 2hrs and running back and forth to the AH is a pain in my ass and I would pay just to avoid that.
Hopefully the AH Bot wasn't the main reason you bought the product cause the rest of it is pretty amazing IMHO.

His point is the "Auction House" feature, is completely useless, everyone can do that with 2 clicks + auctioneer/auctionator, we dont need to pay 20 euros to do that. The problem maybe he just got "baited", idk if intentionally (its not my business) by the "AH" feature included in the bot, so he bought it. As already said in the linked topic where I "whine" about the overall product, there is no point in creating a bot that fights in battleground, gathers nodes and mines node, does dungeons automatically, grinds mob, but at the same time has the lamest attempt to be an AH bot, you just don't do it. Remove that shit or make it useful (=snipe, undercut, repost, cancel). And don't tell me "omg in this way the game will be ruined", because first the game is already ruined by many factors, including other type of bots more powerful, second, basically this product (as every kind of BOT obviously) is violating every ToS possible, and ruining the game for legit players, so if you (creators) did 30, do 31 aswell, and make a decent AH bot. Or just dont put such lame and useless features.

Yes but a standard user who see the UI of the bot on this main page, which has grinder, battleground, gather, dungeon, and he sees also AH, he expects something more from this. I agree that its not written anywhere (at least not with giant font on the mainpage) that this AH is NOT a sniperbot, but it's like you see a car with every possible technology built-in, you read also "listen to you favourite music" and once bought it you discover it can read only 90's audio cassettes.

Humbah - These comments aren't directed towards you, although some might apply. I know buying something and then not getting what you expected is disappointing/annoying, but the AH piece is not the primary function really. its something very minor that can be accomplished, it does what is says it does no more. Although there are some members that are working on adding functionality....
As for Scriptex, he has some valid points but he need to either accept the bot for what it is or leave. Bitching about it on any post he can find is not helping. If he has some skills, he should be working on his own fixes otherwise he, just like me, is dependant on the experts in the community for support. Wrobot works very well in some areas, and not so well in others. One of the biggest benefits most of that use it see, is that it is not trying to HB, but a small under the radar bot that keeps to the basics. I dont want to own the AH through Wrobot because then more people will buy it, more attention from Blizzard will follow and then so will more bans.
I run this bot over 6-10 accounts and have many many profiles that work perfect. No tree issues, no dieing issues, no running off cliff issues, nada.

Indeed, but as already said I see some potential in this product and at least for the private server edition it's a shame to see it so buggy, idk about the retail one so I can't talk. I could leave yes and stop moaning, but if you read between the lines you can see I'm pointing out the problems of the product, asking for a solution, something... and most important asking some more support from the crew. I don't have enough programming knowledge to provide major fixes, but I was working on fight classes and profiles to share here in a future, for example a All-In-One fight class for priest working perfectly for leveling from level 1-80 to do battlegrounds and dungeons at max level, no matter if shadow, or discipline, or even holy.. it is almost finished. So I put my best in this product to be honest even if I may sound a dick from the posts.
About the Auction House, it's a very basic feature that works yes, but try to use it against real AH botters, you don't have a chance, I mean if you want to randomly sell some items without caring about being undercutted every 10 seconds go for it, but its something that you can do with every basic AH addon. It doesn't faster so much the process to be honest, and in almost every server I played there is always someone playing AH 24/7 with addons/click recorders/bots, so I won't rely on that feature to gain money, it's like adding a feature to buy reagents from a vendor, you just go to the vendor and buy them manually, it doesn't take so much time and you don't need a bot to do that..IMHO.

Is there a way to setup the both so it won't try to sell items if it doesn't have enough money? Mine gets stuck right now trying to sell without enough money.
EDIT* A way for the bot to know its bags are full and will not return the the mail box until it has sold everything or made more room. It would also wait until something sold and go get its money to post more auctions, etc.
EDIT** Maybe a way for set up thresholds so the once the both has made X amount of money it will change the Buy item only have this much money to a new number. If the bot was setup with a 1g threshold once it has made X amount of money that threshold would change to 5g and so fourth. So you can build up a bank, etc.
I am running into the problem the bot spends all its money down to 1g and when it post it can't post everything because it doesn't have enough money, etc.
EDIT*** Having issues with the bot not being able to post some items. It says it cannot select the item. Not sure the actual verbiage. Until the item I manually moves from one slot to another or the bot is completely closed out and starred over. Ideas? I don't run want add-ons with the bot.

Sometimes, very rare tho but still, the bot kinda stucks and everytime it does a research of the items to buy, it gets always the error "no items found", when obviously there are many and many auctions of them. The solution for me is: close Auction House window, stop WRobot, Re-open Auction House, start WRobot.
I initially thought it was because of the search delay, which was set at 10 seconds, so I put it at 20 seconds but still the problem happens so I don't think it's that.
I think it's more likely the bot stucks because of too many WoW opened, and maybe with a slow computer it can't process all the data and goes afk/stop working.
Usually I have 1 AH Bot to buy few items, running for several hours, and other WoW opened, for example another one when I do arenas and pvp (so no other wrobot opened)
It may happens, I don't care sooo much because anyway I always tab and take a look at the bot for security reasons, but well I just wanted to report this thing.
Also a small note: with addons (auctionator) I'm able to buy for example 40 stacks of 1 of "Linen Cloth" with one click. When WRobot finds these kind of auctions, it buys them one at time and it wastes so much time. If you can speed up this process and mass-buying it would be perfect. Greetings

There is another very lucrative auction item(s). generally pick them up at vendor for 2-9 silver, and sell at AH for about 90-600g :-) .
I only found this out by mistake.
I'll share one item, and that is +5 or +10 fishing pole :-) . Not sharing any more, as I need golds for training and mounts, and I don't buy or farm gold, too expensive and looks boring as watching paint dry :-) .

Looking at the auction house, it seems some people understand that bots use an undercut percent based on minimum/maximum/average/middle value of all items because random people are posting one item in a list of tradeskill items that is over 2000% of the average cost.
This throws off the entire base average and kills any chance of grabbing an item at a correct value relative to the actual market cost.
An easy fix would be to take all the items in the search and checking for anything that is extreme in the cost difference and removing it from the total value at the end. This could work off of say anything over a 100%-500% difference of other items in the list.
